Head Housekeeper – Central London Hotel – £29000 per annum
We are presently recruiting for a full time permanent Head Housekeeper for a Central London 4-star hotel.
The hotel has just under 100 bedrooms and is independently owned.
The hotel prides itself on providing a traditional and welcoming service to its guests, many of whom are long term regulars.
You will be a hands on driven housekeeping manager, who is comfortable with leading a team of up to 15 staff to ensure the highest cleaning standards are maintained at all times.
You will be a team player, with a positive & pro-active manner, with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in a similar quality environment.
You will be financially aware with good administration skills and have a clear understanding of health and safety legislation.
You will be looking for a long-term position where you are able to grow your career in a very established environment.
Main responsibilities will include –
Supervise all housekeeping activities.
Check rooms are cleaned and presented to the required standard and all maintenance issues are reported and completed.
To create a strong work ethic and positive team spirit within the department.
Train new team members and ensure current team are updated when necessary with new training requirements.
To ensure efficient working methods are achieved.
To develop a strong training culture within the department.
To work closely with other hotel departments to ensure a positive guest experience.
The salary is £ 29000.00 gross per annum.
A 45-hour working week from 9am to 630pm.
Monday to Friday working with weekends as and when required.
